IT’S TIME FOR A FAIR DEAL

Working hard to support our community

We are fighting for fair wages and working conditions that let us keep working and living here.

We are the municipal workers of CUPE Local 4386.

We maintain the Corner Brook Civic Centre, flood the ice, set up for events, and keep our community hub running smoothly for everyone to enjoy.

We are also your neighbours.

We take immense pride in our work ethic and our town.

You saw that dedication firsthand when Corner Brook hosted the Summer Games, and our crews put in the extra hours to make sure our community shined on the big stage.

Right now, we are fighting for a contract that keeps up with the rising cost of groceries, housing, and everyday bills. We just want to be able to afford to live in the community we work so hard to maintain, right here with our families.

YOU CAN HELP

Please use the form to email Mayor Chaisson and the City Council. Tell them it's time to agree to a fair deal. Let’s get this right.

Tell Mayor Chaisson and City Council: Give Civic Centre workers a fair deal.

An email will be sent on your behalf to Mayor Chaisson, Deputy Mayor Keeping, and City Councillors. We will also keep you informed about upcoming events and how you can help.

By submitting this form, you agree to receive occasional messages from CUPE Local 4386 by email and SMS text message. You can unsubscribe from both at any time using the link/instructions in each message.
